1. Do you have other styles of polyester and silk neckties that are not listed on the website?
No. We only have what is shown on the website. Styles that have been removed typically means we no longer have that style in stock.

2. What styles of
neckties do you typically carry?
We normally stock conservative high quality designed neckties that you can wear with casual, business, or formal attire but may occasionally have a few select modern or fun ties. Typically we do not carry any novelty ties, i.e. animal prints, holiday, religious, or patriotic themes ties, or cartoons. Our line of ties now include both woven and printed ties in either 100% silk or 100% polyester in various weights. Please look carefully at each description for full details about each tie.

3. Do you sell clip-on ties,
bowties, or pocket puffs?
We do not carry clip-on ties but we do have some clip-on bow ties (these bow ties are adjustable that hooks a strap around the neck). We carry quality neckties that sometimes come with matching pocket puffs but do not have pocket puffs sold separately.

4. Do you sell longer ties for taller people?

Our ties are typically 56 inches (142cm) long. However, due to customer requests, we have been getting some ties at longer lengths. At 56 inches long, it might be okay for simple knots like a half Windsor for a tall person. The ties would not be long enough for a tall person tying a full Windsor knot or something as complicated. If the tie length is longer than 56 inches, it will be noted in the full tie description.

5. How wide are your ties?

All of our ties are approximately 3 3/4 to 3 7/8 inches (~9.5cm) wide at the widest part of the necktie. Skinny ties are 2 5/8" wide and super skinny ties are 1 5/8" wide. Any other widths will be noted.

6. What is the best way to place an order?

The best way to place an order is online. Our website uses SSL secured web pages so you are guaranteed secure online purchasing. Our website works best with newer versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari. You may also email or phone in orders; however, the fastest and most secure way to place orders is through our website.

7. Do you accept orders outside the United States?

We do not usually accept international orders outside of the United States.

8. Do I have to pay taxes on an order?

You only have to pay sales tax on an order if you are in California; all other states are tax-free. The current sales tax here is 8.75% (new rate effective 01/01/2012). We are not responsible for any tariffs and/or additional charges countries and/or governments that may charge you.

9. Do you offer discounts on large quantity orders?

We are an online retailer that offers quality goods at factory direct prices already. We may occasionally have specials with additional discounts. The price ranges of our ties are from $3.99 to $11.99. If you are ordering in quantities of 100 pieces or more, please inquire us about additional discounts off our regular priced items. If you are a reseller, please inquire about qualifying for reseller details and pricing.

10. How do I stop/start receiving DoubleValue emails?

If you have received announcements or promotions from us and do not wish to receive them in the future, you may unsubscribe by emailing us at info@doublevalue.com and put the word "UNSUBSCRIBE" in the subject line. If you want to start receiving email notifications from us, please email us at info@doublevalue.com and put the word "SUBSCRIBE" in the subject line.

11. Is my personal information secure when placing orders?

Our shopping cart check out process that contains confidential personal information is secure and encrypted in SSL web pages, which can be verified with the Thawte SSL Certificate. Furthermore, your credit card information is encrypted for an additional level of security. More information can be found at our Secure Shopping section.

12. Do you have a Privacy Policy?

Yes, we have a Privacy Policy and do not disclose any confidential information to any other parties outside of DoubleValue. More information can be found at our Privacy Policy section.

13. Do you ship orders to Postal Office Boxes?

No. We do not ship orders to P.O. Boxes because we require signature confirmations on most orders.

14. What services do you use to ship your packages?

We typically use USPS (United States Postal Service) via Priority Mail for small orders but occasionally use UPS for larger orders or for expedited shipping at your request.

15. How much do you charge for shipping and handling?

Our standard domestic shipping and handling (S&H) fee through USPS starts at $5.95 ($4.95 base + $1 handling, insurance, and/or signature and rates may vary from state to state) for the first necktie and approximately $0.50 for each additional necktie. Shipping by USPS is typically the cheapest and fastest normal shipping in the continental U.S. For orders of 15 ties or more to destinations further away from California, it's probably cheaper to use UPS; however, you can simply compare those rates for yourself during checkout with a click of the mouse in changing your shipping preference. For expedited shipping or other arrangement that is not automatically calculated on checkout, please contact us; charges will vary but we will always disclose the shipping costs to you before you confirm and submit your order. We do not make money by over inflating shipping charges, charging large handling fees, or add on hidden charges to the S&H fees.

16. What is the shipping time?

We try to fill orders daily including the ones that come in early that day (excluding weekends and holidays) pending inventory on hand. USPS Priority Mail has an average 3-day turn around for continental US deliveries upon fulfillment of order. Other shipping arrangements may vary for larger orders, special delivery destinations, and/or special expedited shipping requests. Please contact us for alternate or expedited shipping arrangements and charges not listed as a typical shipping option. Also note that there may be an extended lead-time beyond normal to fill exceptionally large orders or special requests.

17. What type of payments do you accept?

Currently we only accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards. We find this to be the most widely used and also the most convenient. All of our customer and order information is gathered through secured web pages and the data is also encrypted to guarantee your online purchases to be secure. If you have other questions pertaining to payment, please contact us for arrangements.

18. How long has DoubleValue been in business?

DoubleValue has been serving satisfied customers since 2002.

19. If there is a problem, question, or comment, what is the best way to contact you? The best way to contact us is through email; however, you may also call us if you prefer. Email is the quickest way to get questions or comments in front of one of our staff (
contact info here). Unfortunately, we currently do not have a toll free phone number.

20. What if I'm not satisfied with my ties? Your satisfaction is very important to us and we will gladly exchange or refund your DoubleValue purchase (shipping and handling fees excluded) within 30 days of purchase if you are not completely satisfied with any new, unused, and resalable condition ties. We do not charge a restocking fee and do not cover shipping and handling costs for returned item(s). Simply follow the return instructions on our
Return Policy page and return the item(s) promptly in unused and resalable condition.
